More Than a 5K: Why Miles4Moms Matters

This weekend, J & Mae Marketing has a team of 14 runners participating in the Miles4Moms 5K hosted by Salem Family Resources, and honestly, this one feels personal.

As a woman-owned, mom-owned, and local business, supporting organizations that strengthen families and mothers matters deeply, and that’s exactly what Salem Family Resources does every single day.

Since 1994, Salem Family Resources has focused on supporting children, caregivers, and families through programs, educational resources, early learning services, and community support initiatives right here in our local community.

The Miles4Moms event is more than just a 5K. It’s a community-driven fundraiser designed to bring people together in support of moms and families throughout the Salem area. The event includes:

• a 5K run/walk

• family-friendly activities

• local vendors

• fundraising teams

• community partnerships

• opportunities for businesses and families to rally around a meaningful cause

The event takes place Sunday, May 31 at the Field of Dreams in Salem, NH.

Why This Matters to Us

We spend a lot of time helping businesses grow, but growth is about more than marketing. It’s about community.

It’s about supporting the people around you.
It’s about showing up locally.
It’s about using your platform, your business, and your voice for something bigger than yourself.

That’s one of the reasons we created a fundraising team for this event.

Not because we’re all runners (some of us are questionable at best 😅), but because we believe businesses should actively participate in the communities they serve.
